Who we are
Happy Jack Distillers (“Happy Jack,” “we”) runs this website from 6710 West Chicago Street, Suite 5, Chandler, AZ 85226. Send questions about your information to hjdaz@happyjackdistillers.com.
What we collect
- Your email address when you join our list.
- What you send through an inquiry form: your name, email, optional phone and company, group details, and message.
- When you book a private tasting: your name, email, optional phone, the date, time and number of guests.
- Order details when you buy: contact and pickup or shipping information, and the result of any age check the law requires. Stripe runs our checkout and card payments; we never see or store your full card number.
- In your own browser: whether you confirmed you’re 21 or older, for that visit only, and a cookie that remembers your cart.
Services that load with this site
If you choose “Show map,” Google Maps loads inside the page. When you send a form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you’re not a bot. Each service receives your IP address under its own privacy policy. We don’t use advertising trackers.
How we use it
To send the emails you asked for, reply to your inquiries, fulfill orders, keep the records Arizona requires for alcohol sales, and keep this site working.
Email
We email you only about what you signed up for: news and releases if you joined the list, and your booking or order if you made one. Every list email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click takes you off the list, and many email apps also show an “Unsubscribe” button for our emails. You can also reply to any email or write to us and we’ll remove you. Order and booking emails still come when you buy or book, because they’re about your order.
Sharing
We share personal information only with the providers that do this work for us: Stripe (checkout and card payments), Resend (order, booking and inquiry emails), Google Calendar (our tasting schedule), Cloudflare (hosting, our order records and email list, and spam protection), and any age-verification provider the law requires. We also share it when the law requires. We don’t sell or rent your information.
How long we keep it
- Email list: until you unsubscribe. We then delete your address within 30 days.
- Orders and bookings: your name, email, phone and shipping address stay for 3 years, because they are part of our sales and tax records. After that we remove them automatically and keep only what was sold, the amounts, the tax and the dates.
- Checkouts you didn’t finish: your details are removed after 30 days.
- Age checks at pickup: the date, the result and who checked are kept for at least 2 years, as Arizona law requires (A.R.S. 4-119).
- Inquiries: they arrive as email, and we keep them only as long as we need them to host you and follow up.
- Backups: our nightly backup copies are deleted after 35 days, so anything we remove is gone from them by then too.
Adults only
This site is for people 21 and older. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
Your choices
Email hjdaz@happyjackdistillers.com to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. When you ask us to delete it, we take you off our email list and remove your name, email, phone and address from your past orders and bookings. We keep what the law requires: the sale itself (items, amounts, tax and dates) for our tax records, and age-check records for 2 years. If you have an order or tasting still to come, we finish it first. Stripe keeps its own payment records under its privacy policy; we can ask Stripe to delete yours too.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top and tell the email list about significant changes. See also our terms of use.

Terms of use

Adults only
This website, our tasting room, and our events are for people 21 and older. By using the site, you confirm that you are.
Products and availability
Spirits, prices, and availability on this site can change. Some images are concept renders or mood photography, and we label them that way.
Buying spirits
Once sales open, spirits are sold for pickup at our tasting room in Chandler only. We don’t ship or deliver them. At checkout we place a hold on your card instead of charging it. We charge the card when you pick up, after we check a valid photo ID showing you are 21 or older, and we release bottles only to the buyer. We may refuse or cancel any sale we can’t complete legally or responsibly, and then we release the hold.
Orders and pickup
We email you when your order is ready. Pick it up at 6710 West Chicago Street, Suite 5, Chandler, during open hours, and bring your order number. A card hold for spirits lasts 7 days: if the order isn’t picked up by then, we cancel it and you aren’t charged. We keep other paid pickup orders for 14 days; after that we may cancel and refund them.
Shipping
We ship merchandise to addresses in the United States. The shipping price is shown at checkout, and orders shipped to Arizona include Arizona sales tax. We hold your card at checkout and charge it once we confirm the address; if it is incomplete, doesn’t match its ZIP code, or isn’t in the state you chose in the cart, we cancel the order and release the hold, so nothing is charged. Spirits never ship.
Returns and refunds
Return unused merchandise in its original condition within 30 days for a refund. Bring it to the tasting room, or email us first. We can’t take back spirits once they leave the tasting room, but if a bottle is damaged or faulty, tell us within 7 days and we’ll replace or refund it. Refunds go back to the card you paid with.
Tastings and events
Every guest needs a valid photo ID. We may limit pours or decline service. You can cancel a private tasting from the link in your confirmation email up to 48 hours before it starts, for a full refund. After that we can’t refund it, but ask us about another date. If we change or cancel something you paid for, we’ll offer a new date or a refund.
Gift cards and memberships
Any gift card or membership comes with its own terms, published with the offer.
Our name and content
The Happy Jack name, logo, photography, and writing on this site belong to Happy Jack Distillers. Please ask before you use them.
Other websites
Links to maps and other services take you to sites we don’t control. Their terms apply there.
The fine print
We work to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide it as is. To the extent the law allows, Happy Jack isn’t responsible for indirect losses from using it. Arizona law governs these terms.
